Palm Tree Lawn (Wedding Lawn 1)
The Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha has three designated wedding lawn booking sites. Given the need to protect the lawns, the gardens have strict rules regarding what ceremony hire items may be provided. As the Palm Tree Lawn is the only lawn with an artifical lawn, the rules for this area are softer and arbours and wedding aisles may be permitted.
Mt Coot-tha's Palm Tree Lawn is the most popular wedding for weddings, not just because of the ability to have a rainforest style ceremony backdrop, but also because it is the most private area, with neighbouring public footpaths hidden with all the lush greenery.

The above wedding ceremony set ups in the private Palm Tree Lawn at Brisbane's Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens show the variety of options available for complimenting the style and colours of your wedding.

Tucked away on a quieter area of the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens on a sloping lawn, with footpaths on opposite sides of the lawn The Lychee lawn is surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery.
Gorgeous capture of Brisbane Wedding Decorators wedding ceremony set up at Mt Coot-tha's Lychee Lawn by Dreamlife Photography

For this wedding we provided beautiful white fresh floral arrangements in our tall aisle pillars to perfectly frame the bride and groom. After the ceremony concluded we took the flowers up to Summit Restaurant at the top of Mt Coot-tha and the floral arrangements were placed on the bridal table for the couples wedding reception.
We love it when our gorgeous ceremony florals can later be placed in the reception to add to the glamour!

Elopement styling at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens
The Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens is a gorgeous place to elope and Brisbane Wedding Decorators know the gardens well and would love to style your magical elopement.

These love birds eloped in a sweet and intimate ceremony with highly recommended Elopement Celebrant, Jamie Eastgate of Brisbane City Celebrants.
We created an aisle lined with hanging florals and a tall alter with fresh floral arrangements to frame the happy couple.
Their gorgeous Brisbane elopement ceremony was captured beautifully by Evoke Studios Congratulations to the happy newlyweds.

Bush Chapel - J.C Slaughter Falls
Well and truly off the beaten track is The Bush Chapel at J.C Slaughter Falls. Located just a short walk up a path in Mt Coot-tha's lush forest is this outdoor chapel in a woodland setting with log seating and a snadstone alter.

Minimal decorating can really bring this area to life. Here opted for vibrant floral bouquets and a rose petal aisle, then after the ceremony the same florals were used as centrepieces on our low picnic tables for the couples relaxed picninc style reception.

Circular Arbour Wedding
Brisbane Wedding Decorators loved designing and creating this gorgeous circular arbour wedding backdrop for a recent styled shoot.

With the brief of an intimate romantic woodland wedding, we combined a palette of deep red fresh florals with a hint of gold contrasted against matt black details.
The wooden circular arbour was adorned with fresh floral and feather arrangements and perfectly framed the bride and groom, creating a truly romantic backdrop for both the ceremony and the cutting of the amazing black and gold cake which was also adorned with coordinating florals and greenery.

We love how seamlessly our wooden circular arbour blends in to this nature rich setting. This design fames the couple so perfectly while enhancing the lush greenery backdrop.
The unobstructive design gives your photographer the opportunity to get creative and capture photos from every angle, including from the back with all your excited guests looking on.

Our recommended Celebrant Jamie Eastgate of Brisbane City Celebrants always ensures couples are perfectly centered in front of the setting, before the ceremony commences, ensuring your wedding photos look amazing!

An intimate cocktail table setting was created, with stationary depicting the blooms and gold charger plates and cutlery, with contrasting matt black plates.

Crystal ware champage glasses on dark marble coasters completed the setting perfectly.

Cocktail style happy hour with our grained wood top bar tables and slick white tolix style bar stools make for the ultimate social setting.

We love the idea of using the backdrop not only for the ceremony but also for other parts of the day, like the cutting of the cake!

We hope you enjoyed our circular arbour wedding photo shoot. We would love to hear from you if you would like a circular arbour backdrop at your wedding.
